This bus was purchased from Golden Gate Transit because no one had bid on it due the auction description stating it had a bad rear end. It was offered to me after the auction and I went to pick it up, thinking I was in for problems. As usual, transit people are certainly not good at describing problems.

Turns out the bus was in GREAT condition but in only needed radius rod bushings in the rear. I drove the bus back and then did a complete radius rod bushing replacement, and the bus ran for years with absolutely no problems. This was a sweet bus.
Fun Fleet bus #836 was sold to a private party in Hattiesburg, LA who loved buses. I drove the bus to him with no problems.
The date is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Loren will travel by train to Louisiana and drive it home to Perris.
